John Wenger :: Vice President

John Wenger started in the steel fabrication business in 1986. He has done everything from running prints as a detail trainee and making templates for the shop and field, to project managing and estimating on construction projects worth millions. As head of project management at Westco Iron Works, John specializes in creating estimate-based production schedules designed to track the back-log of work for accurate labor allocations. What does that mean for you? Tighter production schedules that get your steel on the job site faster, along with leaner, meaner, more accurate estimates that cut the fat from a bid.

Brad Thompson :: Chief Financial

A structural steel company is only as strong as its finances, and that’s where Chief Financial Officer Brad Thompson comes in. Brad earned his CPA in 1985, and brings an accountant’s eye for detail to the accounting, financing, and general bookkeeping tasks at Westco Iron Works. In addition to making sure all Westco Iron Work's banking, insurance and bonding requirements are met, Brad handles union issues, heads up the Safety Committee, and oversees every contract that goes out the door.
